AI-VIDDA

Artificial intelligence and biotechnology adapted to new intervention tools for the elderly to extend healthy life years.

The AI-VIDDA project aims to carry out a collection of technological and scientific research to improve the quality of life of society in general and the elderly in particular.

In order to develop this project, which will benefit from the aid provided for in the Galicia Intelligent Specialisation Mission (RIS3 2021-2027), a consortium has been formed under the leadership of DomusVi, in which we participate together with Hifas da Terra, BiG Formación, Inova and Niucom.

General objectives

Balidea's scientific and technological objectives in the AI-VIDDA project can be summarised as follows:

Establish a systematic, quantifiable, digital and predictive quality of life model.

Realisation of an LLM application to exchange information with the system via conversation.

Integration into the system of intelligent devices through which information can be exchanged.

Testing the effects of ergothioneine in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment.

Demonstrate the impact of the digital content platform on increasing the autonomy of older people.

Progress Annuality 2024

In 2024, in the field of artificial intelligence, research will be carried out on large language models (LLMs), including adaptation and optimisation techniques to improve their efficiency and sustainability.

The design of the integration architecture with LLMs for the project was started, and in turn we collaborated in the conceptualisation of smart devices focused on monitoring and prescription, defining their technical requirements and designing advanced subsystems for data collection.
